Gymnastics

Kaylee, who is 3 1/2 years old, and Kianna, who just turned 2 a few weeks ago, are both signed up for gymnastics this fall. They both absolutely love it. I got them new leotards last night and Kaylee was so excited to wear hers that I had to convince her to change clothes before going to her first day of preschool. Then, immediately upon leaving preschool, she told me that she needed to get out of her "school clothes" and put on her gymnastics outfit, which she wore for the rest of the day including her nap.

Kianna and I go to class while Kaylee is at preschool so it gives us some one on one time, which we have never had much of.
Kianna was so excited about going to gymnastics this morning that upon exiting the car she raised both arms up in the air and screamed "whoo hoo". It was precious! She had a smile on her face the entire class and kept telling me "come on mom" while moving from activity to activity. Today was her 2nd class and she can already do a somersault down a slight incline all by herself. The all time favorite activity for both girls is swinging through the air like Tinker Bell. They place a harness around their waist and then they soar through the air. Kaylee's ultimate goal is to learn how to do a cartwheel.
