Beach Day

Kaylee was invited to hang out at the beach with some of her new friends, Delaney Eagen and Lilly Hass. She had a great time with them. 

We kept our distance to give the girls some privacy, but had some of our own beach fun nearby.

Easter

This year we were excited to be able to celebrate Easter with our dear friends, The Hayes. They moved to Jupiter the end of February and we are so excited to have them nearby. Dion is once again working for Trevor. We love their family so much!!!

Cubs Series

Uncle Mike flew to spend a few days with us, so that he and Trevor could go to the entire Cubs series in Miami. Trace and Kaylee got in on one game with them. They had a great time at the games and ate some good food along the way...

Parent Fan Club

Kaylee's club team was in a basketball tournament in Orlando at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. It was a top notch venue and a fun weekend with Kaylee. However, the game results weren't so pretty...

Kennedy Space Center

The kids have the coolest field trips since moving to Florida. I got to go with Kianna's 6th grade class to the Kennedy Space Center. Kianna's new friend, Courtney was paired up with us. She is a sweet girl and was a delight to spend time with. The Kennedy Space Center was awesome! We really enjoyed the field trip!!!!

Mar-A-Lago

My mom loves coming to Florida to visit us. She and Aunt Stacie are tied for the most visits. On this trip, my mom really wanted to see Mar-A-Lago, President Trump's private club on Palm Beach. I had never seen it and was interested as well. However, it turned into a bit of a story...

So we drove to Mar-A-Lago which is off of the main road in Palm Beach. The driveway was open so I turned down the path and immediately regretted it. There were about five workers dressed very nicely about 100 feet in front of me. I paused so my mom could get a picture of the house, but she took forever as her phone kept shutting off. All the while, I feel I'm being stared at by the five people in front of me. Once she finished I had to drive past the five people as they asked if they could help me. I then told them we were being nosy and wanted to see Trump's house. They asked us to leave. It was a bit embarrassing. Trace and Kianna were with us and they were super embarrassed. My mom of course didn't think much of it...

In addition to seeing Mar-A-Lago, we also decided to take a Palm Beach Boat Tour to see the homes of the rich and famous. We brought our own sandwiches and smoothies so we could have a picnic on the boat. The tour left from Singer Island and then went past Drew Barrymore's childhood home, as well as, many other wealthy peoples homes. It was a fun tour.
