Our 20th Anniversary

Trevor and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a lovely dinner at Capital Grille. From the moment we walked in the staff each wished us a Happy Anniversary. The table was decorated with a confetti heart and they treated us with a complimentary creme brûlée for dessert. Trevor surprised me with a gorgeous set of diamond earrings. We hope to celebrate with a trip to Greece with Stacie and Patrick next year. 20 years down and forever to go.

 

Colorado Ski Trip

Aunt Stacie invited Kaylee and Aliyah to go to Colorado with her. They stayed with Andrew and had an amazing time together. Andrew works at Copper Mountain so was able to hook the girls up with free ski lessons, free gear and free lift tickets. The girls spent all day in lessons and then were allowed to go down with the ski instructor. Apparently, Kaylee was a quick studying and ended up in the front of the pack. The instructor told her and the boy she was skiing with to wait at the end of the trail, so when they came to a "Y" in the path they didn't know which way to go. Unfortunately, they accidentally chose the more difficult path. It took the group two hours to get to the bottom and Aliyah was not happy with Kaylee. It was an easy mistake to make, one I've made myself. 

Kaylee also got to spend the day with Katie as she had her do her hair. Kaylee had a great time in Colorado!

  

Trevor's 49th Birthday

We celebrated Trevor's birthday with a home cooked meal with the kids with Reuben sandwiches and homemade carrot cake. We celebrated later with Stacie and Patrick at Lewis' Steakhouse. The boys each got a free meal for their birthdays and the food was absolutely delicious. We are blessed to have another year with Trevor. 

 

Scott and Emily's Visit

 

Scott and Emily came to visit us after their Disney Cruise. While here we were able to celebrate Scott's 40th birthday with them. We took them out to dinner at the Blue Pointe Bar and Grill. We played games, took them to the beach, we went to see the sea turtles, and the boys went to a baseball game. We had great conversations and they told us that coming to our house was the highlight of their vacation. 

Washington DC

Kianna had an amazing opportunity to go to Washington DC with Jupiter Christian for her minimester trip. Only seven kids went on the trip including her best friend, Jessica. Kianna made a new friend, Mia. She got to see so many cool things including all the monuments, the Capital, the White House, the Holocaust Museum, the Air and Space Museum, the American History Museum, the Vietnam Memorial and the World War II Memorial Cemetery. Kianna had a great time on this trip. 

 

Family Pictures

We completed our family pictures this weekend. We finally found a day that wasn't super windy. I love how they turned out. 

 

Shelli's Birthday

 

Stacie and I took Shelli out to dinner at Palm Beach Grill to celebrate her birthday. We had a great dinner and I got her this pretty plant as a "house warming gift" since earlier in the day I knew she had made an offer on a condo. Shelli got the news the following day that her offer was accepted and she is the new owner of a condo in North Palm Beach. She's so excited her plant has a new home. LOL. Her condo sounds amazing as it's on the intracoastal and will be an awesome place to watch fireworks on the 4th of July and the boat parade at Christmastime.
