Halloween

This year the girls had fun making their costumes. Kaylee and Camryn got together and made their Monsters Inc., t-shifts. They were Mike and Sully. Kianna then decided she wanted to make a costume too so she and Jessica got together and made their Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes from Dr. Seuss. Trace couldn't figure out what he wanted to be, so he wore last years Ninja costume.

Trace invited Michael and his dad, Mark over. Kianna invited Jessica and Courtney over. Kaylee invited Camryn and Delaney over. It was our first time trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and it did not disappoint. Our neighbors sat in their driveways and handed out candy. Some of them handed out donuts and others full candy bars. One house turned their house into a haunted house. We waited about 45 minutes to get in. It wasn't very scary but all the effort they put into creating it was impressive.

Homecoming

Kaylee had her first high school dance last night. All the moms and girls were invited over to the Hass' house to help our daughters get ready for the dance. I had fun doing Kaylee's hair and love how it turned out. After a fun photo shoot with friends, the girls went to their dance, which was located at the Marriott Hotel on PGA Blvd. Their night included a nice sit down meal followed by a dance. Kaylee had fun dancing with Lilly Hass and her date, Sawyer. Apparently, Kaylee helped make the night less awkward for Lilly since it was their first date.

While the girls were at the dance, the Hass' invited the parents to join them at their home for a nice sit down meal of our own. It was nice getting to know the other parents better. After the dance, we hosted a post dance slumber party. Kaylee's first dance was a success!

Invisalign

I decided to get Invisalign. It is something I have been debating for the past 7 years, but put off due to the expense. I finally decided to go for it. My teeth have never been overly crooked, but they are starting to get more crowded on the bottom, which will only continue to worsen I'm told. The main reason I'm doing it though, is that I clench my teeth when I sleep which is causing headaches and the enamel on my teeth to wear off. My teeth are very sensitive and I don't want it to keep getting worse. I was given 19 trays. I'm supposed to wear each tray for two weeks. I have to keep them in 23 hours a day. I take them out when I eat. I'm excited to see the end result!

Rise FC

Michael and Trace

Kianna's soccer coach from Jupiter United decided to start his own soccer club, Rise FC. We decided to follow Coach Malcolm as he is a great coach. One of the perks of the new club is that Trace and Kianna will only have one tournament a month and they will be on the same weekend. We're excited about this change as it will help simplify our crazy schedules a bit!

Trace has been playing goalie, striker and mid-field. He is a very competitive player and a great little athlete. When he gives 100%, which we call Beast Mode, he is hard to beat.

Kianna plays right or left forward. She is one of the youngest on her team as she is playing up a year since there aren't enough 2006 players. She loves her team, as they have really bonded together.

Burrowing Owl

I was so excited to see this little guy at one of the kids soccer tournaments. What a cutie!

JV Volleyball

Kaylee made the JCS JV Volleyball team. She is one of the two setters along with Makenna Lathrop. Kaylee is a very aggressive player and is fun to watch. Unfortunately, despite lots of effort, Kaylee has a heck of a time getting her serves over consistently. As a result, she rotates out when it's her turn to serve. Volleyballs over and now for basketball season...
