Adrian Day 6

My mom and Grandma left after church. We had a great visit with them. They were such a blessing.


I came home from church to discover mouse #3 in the trap and mouse turds in our pantry. Trap #4 is ready to go, but hoping to remain empty. Apparently when Trevor leaves the mice will play...


Okay, so I may have been a little amused earlier but now am getting concerned. I just heard trap #4 go off while I was upstairs putting the kids to bed. They are coming from our basement, but I don't know how they are getting into our house. Upon close examination, I have discovered massive amounts of mouse poop under our kitchen sink, under our sectional in the sunroom, and in our front shoe closet. I have also found poop in our food pantry, in our den, in our garage entryway and on the ground in another closet. I am currently working on our main shoe closet and am afraid what I will find. I'm not sure what to do? We may need a professional exterminator. I found two holes in the middle portion of our sectional and chewed up fabric. I tried to look inside but without ripping it I couldn't see much. They could have a nest in there. Thankfully my dad and Sue arrive tomorrow afternoon, that is if the weather cooperates. Iowa is getting hit hard right now. The kids overheard me talking about it and Kaylee is pretty freaked out. Can't say I blame her. I'm a bit on edge too. Please pray for us during this trial.
